For our team, this is about so much more than winning an award. It is recognition from the community that we have been proud to call home since 2007.
As an independent hair salon in the heart of Weybridge, we have spent almost two decades building relationships with our clients, developing our team and creating a salon that we are genuinely proud of.
And to have that recognised by the people of Elmbridge makes this award particularly special.
Almost 20 years of Glitterati in Weybridge
My journey in hairdressing began as a young apprentice in the late 1990s, when I had the opportunity to learn my craft within one of the world’s leading salon brands.
Over the years I worked my way up through the industry, gaining experience and developing my own ideas about what a great salon should look and feel like.
In 2007, I decided to take the plunge and open Glitterati Hair & Beauty in Weybridge.
I wanted to create something of my own, an independent salon where I could combine professional hairdressing, creativity, exceptional customer service and a great environment for both clients and our team.
Almost 20 years later, Glitterati remains independently owned and continues to evolve.

Our philosophy has always been simple: great hair, great service and a great experience.
From precision haircuts and styling to colour transformations, balayage, hair extensions and smoothing treatments, our team works with each client to create a look that suits them.
We are particularly proud of our reputation for balayage and bespoke hair colour in Weybridge, alongside our hair extension and smoothing services.
